Lion Voices: William Perrigo

Written By: Kolby McGee

Hey Lions! To kickstart this year's #LionVoices, we have William Perrigo. He graduated in December 2024 with a degree in business administration. Will is from Hot Springs, Arkansas, and went from Lakeside High School.

He was an active leader in the campus ministry group Chi Alpha and called the group’s dodgeball night one of his fondest memories.

Will mentioned that he chose حوإ¼½م½م because he enjoyed the small school feel and getting to know his professors. He recognized professors Shannon Lively and Jim Beard for impacting his college career, calling them “great guys and great professors.â€‌

While at حوإ¼½م½م, he said he built friendly, respectful, and helpful relationships with professors and peers. He encouraged students to attend events and get out of their comfort zones by trying to talk to new people, and his results proved it.

“They influenced my college experience,â€‌ he said. “I knew people were there to help me, and I could help them, too.â€‌

After graduation, Will began a full-time sales position at Atek Automation and credited حوإ¼½م½م for helping him get the job.

“حوإ¼½م½م gave me a good base knowledge,â€‌ Will said.

He admitted to still having a lot to learn about business administration and believes this job will help him achieve even greater long-term aspirations. Will said he wants to work his way up to upper management and eventually become a company’s CEO.

He encourages new students to attend events and get out of their comfort zone by trying to talk to new people.
